There are many ardent fans of the Toyota Land Cruiser in India who are missing the presence of the SUV ever since it was discontinued in 2020.
The new one is yet to land in India and there is a massive waiting period on the car globally. Which is probably why this man decided to convert his car? Do let us know if you find any answers.

The car customisation garage worked on the Isuzu MU-X and modified it to a Toyota Land Cruiser LC 200 look-alike. Yes, you read that right – a humble MU-X transformed completely into a Land Cruiser.
The entire customization job is carried out by VIP Modification and car care from Bhopal and has been presented by a YouTuber Punit Sharma on his channel ‘Magneto 11’.
Isuzu MU-X becomes a Toyota Land Cruiser look-alike
This is a Isuzu MUX underneath
All the body panels of the MUX-X were swapped with the custom-made bonnet, fenders, bumpers, and door panels of the Land Cruiser LC 200 facelift, which came to the global markets in 2015.
The new parts include the intimidating front grille, large headlamps with daytime running LEDs, and block-shaped LED tail lamps do mimic those of the Land Cruiser LC 200. The SUV gets custom multi-spoke alloy wheels which go well with its overall theme of it.
The rear looks quite real though
While all the body panels of this Isuzu MU-X look like those of the Land Cruiser LC 200, there are certain parts like window panels, rearview mirrors, and lowered stance, which can give away its identity. A closer inspection of this SUV is enough to point out that it is not the original version of the Land Cruiser but a copy of it.
The cabin is far away from a Land Cruiser
And it looks very plush
The cabin of the SUV tries to create a premium impression with the quilted white upholstery and roof lining, custom seat covers, and dashboard touches. There are many other parts including brown-coloured faux-wood touches on the steering wheel, instrument console, centre console surrounds, and door pads.
The centre console comes integrated into a large portrait-style aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system, which adds some modernity to the otherwise dull and dated-looking cabin.
There are a lot of changes inside the cabin as well
The entire process of transformation of the Isuzu MU-X into a Toyota Land Cruiser LC 200 look-alike has been accomplished by the in-house expertise of VIP Modification and car care. All the body panels were created and painted in the garage itself, while the entire interior customization was done in the garage too.

The modification garage has transformed it into a Land Cruiser LC200
While this modified Toyota Land Cruiser LC 200 might look cool to some people, driving such a heavily modified vehicle out on the open roads is a criminal offence. The Supreme Court of India ruled out a decision in 2019, which restricts the use of such vehicles. Any structural modifications, oversized rims and even identity change of the vehicle are illegal.
