Affordable JMC Vigus Pro White Series 4×4 Introduced For Businesses

Angka-Tan Motor Sdn Bhd (ATM) has introduced the JMC Vigus Pro White Series as an essential workhorse for businesses. With a retail price of RM99,888, this version of the Vigus Pro becomes the most affordable 4×4 pickup truck with automatic transmission in the 1-tonne segment in Malaysia, making it an attractive proposition for SMEs and corporate fleets.

The JMC Vigus Pro White Series joins the Vigus Pro Premium Series launched in October 2021, giving consumers a choice i.e. White Series for business and trade owners who seek cost-effectiveness, and Premium Series for those who want something more.

The Vigus Pro White Series is focused on offering the best of the essentials, focusing on performance without presence of excessive features. The White Series still uses the same Puma 2.0L TDI diesel engine, the ZF 8-speed automatic transmission with manual mode (first-in-class) and the BorgWarner 4-wheel-drive system. This powertrain offers 141 PS @ 3,600 rpm and 340 Nm @ 1,500 – 2,600 rpm. With its advanced fuel injection system, seamless gear shifting and variable geometry turbocharging, the engine provides a good combination of power and efficiency. Additionally, the BorgWarner 4-wheel drive system offers a low-range transfer box for challenging terrain and road conditions. This system allows the driver to switch between 2- and 4-wheel drive modes, providing improved traction and off-road capabilities. The low-range transfer box includes additional gears for a lower gear ratio, enhancing torque delivery and enabling the vehicle to take on more challenging conditions. BorgWarner’s system incorporates electronic and mechanical controls to engage or disengage 4-wheel drive, ensuring reliable performance and flexibility in various driving conditions.

The JMC Vigus Pro White Series is also covered by a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty (whichever comes first). The pickup is fitted with breathable fabric seats. On the other hand, the Vigus Pro Premium Series offers leatherette seats and additional accessories such as DVR (digital video recorder), tinting, door visors, kick plate and tailgate assist, as well as a 5-year or 150,000 km warranty (whichever comes first).

Concurrently, Angka-Tan Motor also introduced a new colour for the JMC Vigus Pro Premium Series i.e. Metal Grey. The new colour is an addition to the existing choices which include Metallic Silver, Stylish Black and Arctic White. For the Vigus Pro White Series, it is available in Arctic White.

ATM also offers additional accessories to meet customers’ various demands. Available now are a choice of accessories that includes roller shutter which provide convenience and security for your cargo, and a canopy for protection and versatility. All accessories come with a one year warranty.

The JMC Vigus Pro is locally assembled at the state-of-the-art Tan Chong Motor plant in Serendah, Selangor. It is now available for viewing and test drive at the 30 Angka-Tan Motor dealerships nationwide. Aftersales is also served by a network of 20 Tan Chong Ekpress Auto Servis workshops. ATM has plans to expand its dealership and aftersales network to expand its coverage.
