Hero MotoCorp has shared the images of the upcoming made-in-India Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and this new motorcycle sure looks like a worthy rival to the likes of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and Honda CB350RS motorcycles sold in India.
This latest Harley-Davidson motorcycle is made in collaboration with Hero MotoCorp. However, the motorcycle has been designed at the former’s headquarters in Milwaukee, but the testing and development have been done by Hero MotoCorp in India to keep the price in check.
Looking at the images, the upcoming made-in-India Harley-Davidson motorcycle does appear to be a quite attractive-looking neo-retro motorcycle with its muscular fuel tank, and round elements such as headlights, turn indicators, and instrument cluster.
That being said, these new images also reveal that the upcoming made-in-India Harley-Davidson motorcycle comes with features such as USD forks at the front, twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear, LED headlights with LED DRL, circular TFT instrument cluster, front and rear disc brakes and more.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming made-in-India Harley-Davidson motorcycle is most likely to come with features such as Bluetooth connectivity, rider modes, and telemetry data, where the latter can be accessed through a dedicated app.
Furthermore, the number plate on the photographed made-in-India Harley-Davidson motorcycle calls it the “HD 4XX”. This means the upcoming made-in-India Harley-Davidson motorcycle could feature a 400+cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled powertrain. This powertrain is likely to have good low-end torque and a thumpy exhaust note.
These images of the made-in-India Harley-Davidson motorcycle also reveals that the motorcycle sports a neutral riding posture with mid-set foot pegs and a wide handlebar. Along with that, the motorcycle seems to come with an 18-inch front tyre and a smaller 17-inch rear tyre.
Thoughts About The Upcoming Made-In-India Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
We expect the upcoming made-in-India Harley-Davidson motorcycle to be priced at a premium compared to the Honda CB350RS and Royal Enfield Hunter 350 at around Rs 2.5 lakh mark. Apart from that, the made-in-India Harley-Davidson motorcycle looks quite production-ready and the model could be launched soon in India.
