The fun-packed Yezdi Scrambler offers 200 mm of ground clearance and more torque than a KTM 250 Adventure
Scrambler motorcycles might not be the most popular genre in India, however, they are incredibly versatile machines because you can use them both on and off-road. Some renowned premium bike makers like Ducati and Triumph already have at least one Scrambler model in their product lineup.
Yezdi owned by Classic Legends, recently introduced India’s most affordable Scrambler model to date. The motorcycle is positioned between the Yezdi Roadster and the Adventure, and it uses the same 334 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine. This is the same engine that also powers some other Yezdi motorcycles.
Key Highlights of the Yezdi Scrambler
Yezdi recently introduced three new motorcycles under their portfolio including a cruiser, Scrambler, and an Adventure Tourer
- The Scrambler uses the 334 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. The engine is tuned to produce 28.7 bhp of peak power at 8,000 rpm and 28.2 Nm of peak torque at 6,750 rpm. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox.
- The Scrambler and the Roadster get the same 12.5 litre capacity fuel tank. At 182 kilograms, it is also the lightest motorcycle in the Yezdi product portfolio. The Scrambler shares the same frame as the other Yezdi motorcycles, but it features a different rear subframe.
- The Scrambler offers more features than the Roadster cruiser. It gets a handlebar-mounted USB and Types C charging points. It also features three levels of ABS settings- Road, Off-Road, and Rain.

- The Scrambler shares the same round LCD single pod instrument cluster with the Roadster cruiser. The Yezdi Scrambler gets warning lights for battery, engine temperature, ABS indicator, Neutral lights, high beam for headlamps, side turn indicators, engine malfunction lights, low fuel indicators. The LCD informative screen also displays gear position indicator, tachometer, clock, two trip meters, etc.
- The Scrambler has the shortest wheelbase of 1403 mm. It uses 19-inch front and 17 inch rear spoke wheels. The Scrambler is fitted with mild offroad spec tyres from MRF however, you also do get CEAT tyres as an option. It uses a telescopic suspension setup at the front with 150 mm front wheel travel while the rear profile gets a preload-adjustable gas-charged twin rear shock absorbers with 130 mm travel. Lastly, it also features an impressive 200 mm of ground clearance identical to the KTM 250 Adventure.
- The Scrambler shares the same 320mm front rotors and 240 mm rear rotors with the other Yezdi motorcycles with a dual-channel ABS as standard.

The prices for the Scrambler start at 2.05 lakh (Ex-showroom), while the top variant is priced at Rs 2.11 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
