Royal Enfield will launch its first product for 2022, the Scram 411 in the coming week. The Scram 411 will be a more affordable derivative of the Himalayan. We have constantly updated all the details of this upcoming model (you can read about it here).
That said, here are the five things you should know about the Royal Enfield Scram 411 before its launch.

- The Scram 411 looks like a stripped-down version of Himalayan. It will feature a cast metal headlamp cowl and an offset instrument cluster with tripper navigation. It will even get an urban badge plate with 411 brandings.
- In terms of features, the Scram 411 will pack a halogen headlamp, bulb indicators, an LED taillight, and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
- The Scram 411 will share its 411cc, single motor, air-oil cooled, fuel-injected long-stroke engine with its Himalayan sibling. Expect the Scram to dish out 24.3 Bhp of peak power and 32 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain will be mated to a five-speed gearbox with altered gear ratios.

- The upcoming Scram could use a similar suspension setup as the Himalayan Adventure. But, the motorcycle will ride on smaller wired spoke wheels shod with road-biased tyres. The Scram 411 will share its braking hardware with the Himalayan. It will feature a dual-channel ABS setup.
- The Royal Enfield Scram 411 will be a more affordable variant of the Himalayan Adventure motorcycle. Expect the RE Scram 411 to be cheaper by almost Rs 20,000 than the Himalayan.
