The Ford Mustang Mach-E, the Blue Oval’s first dedicated electric vehicle, is available in multiple regular trim levels. Customers who wish to stand out from the crowd can opt for a Premium Nite Pony Package or a GT Performance Package. Those wishing for even more exclusivity have a wide range of aftermarket options, including custom body kits and even mechanical modifications. Here are five such custom Mustang Mach-E examples that got us to stop scrolling and take a closer look:
Pote’s Mustang Mach-E
One of the discussions in the MachEClub forum caught our attention, as the topic revolved around a fine Mach-E example owned by Hawaii-based forum member Pote. Pote’s 2021 Mach-E 4X is finished in factory Carbonized Gray Metallic paint but has been customized in a fairly discreet yet effective manner. As per Pote, the cost of customizing this Mach-E was USD 5,549.
The front lip spoiler, side skirts & rear diffuser of Pote’s Mach-E have eye-catching red graphics while also sporting thin red detailing around the front grille. The front grille features unique carbon-fiber graphics, too. Other custom elements on this electric Mustang include gloss-black wheels with powder coating, PPF (Paint Protection Film) on the entire front-end, door mirrors, and pillars, tinting for windows and on the front windshield, plus all-around exterior ceramic coating.
Mach-E X Tjin Edition

The Mach-E Tjin Edition first appeared at the 2021 SEMA Show. It’s a one-off creation that took about two years for Neil Tjin and his family to create. The Tjin Edition features a custom orange exterior color with color-matched seatbelts and headlight internals, with the latter borrowed from a combustion-powered Mustang coupe.
This particular Mach-E comes with air suspension featuring a custom-made air tank with LED lighting, and there’s a dedicated cooling system in the frunk. The modified Mach-E sports bespoke white alloy wheels, Baer 6S six-piston front and rear big brake kit, a redesigned tailgate with two additional spoilers with integrated photoelectric panels, plus a solar roof for charging e-bikes placed on a Thule rack. Finally, the Tjin Edition gets custom pinstripes and a backlit pony emblem.
Mustang Mach-E by Tucci Hot Rods
Next up, we have a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT AWD that has been heavily customized by Tucci Hot Rods. Christened as ‘True Mustang Persona,’ this example wears a custom wrap created by Kay Automotive. Other interesting styling mods on this Mach-E include sill plates, door emblems, and a GT-badged tailgate from Ford Accessories, 3D-printed fender flares & front lip, vacuum-formed transparent wheel covers, and a brawnier tailgate spoiler.
The interior retrofits include Recaro Podium seats, racing harnesses with a custom harness bar, and custom-painted trim accents by Tucci Hot Rods. There is also a 140-degree dash cam, which comes from Ford Accessories.

Another example of a well-executed and tastefully-customized Mach-E on this list is the Maxton or MX design by MagnaTuning (site link). The front bumper extension comes in two varieties – MX and MX2. Customers can also opt for MX side skirt extensions. As per the Romanian aftermarket tuning brand, all exterior components listed here are made out of ABS.
The custom package can be finished with a matt black textured surface, a gloss black surface, or a carbon-look surface. The MX body kit has been priced at EUR 897 (appx. USD 975). Optionally, customers can specify an MX or MX2 rear-wing extension kit for a price of EUR 112 (aprox. USD 122), which includes a 10% discount.
Mach-E GT by EvolAutoWorks x UniversalAir with AOSK Body Kit
Displayed at the 2022 SEMA Show, this Mustang Mach-E with AOSK body kit was originally a Grabber Blue GT variant. As per San Bernardino, California-based air suspension specialist UniversalAir (via MachEForum), it features full air suspension with active damping and custom-fabricated components like air tanks, brackets, valves, and compressors.
UniversalAir claims that the set-up of this Mustang Mach-E is focused more on providing better ride quality than corner-carving performance. Moreover, the bolt-in kits provided by the brand mean that installing them should not be too complicated. The AOSK body kit incorporates an aggressive front lip, side skirts, wider fenders, a larger roof-mounted spoiler, and a sportier rear diffuser – all finished in gloss black. Plus, there are high-performance brake calipers and custom white wheels.
