The 2024 Audi e-tron has been rebranded as the Q8 e-tron and Q8 e-tron Sportback. These electric SUVs now lead Audi’s EV lineup. Alongside the e-tron GT sedan and Q4 e-tron crossover – here are all details on the models.

Renamed the Q8 e-tron, the updated EV boasts refreshed styling and enhanced range. The sleek Sportback and more powerful SQ8 e-tron variants remain. Notable external updates include a new single-frame grille, aerodynamic wheels, and a revised front bumper, reducing overall drag by 6%.
Inside, the focus is on two touchscreens: a 10,1-inch unit above an 8,6-inch display. These screens manage nearly all functions, complemented by voice commands. Optional features encompass a head-up display, four-zone climate control, and massaging seats. A new light brown walnut wood interior trim is introduced, while the S-Line package offers seats wrapped in synthetic leather and recycled microfibre.

Beneath the surface, a 106 kWh battery pack with an increased 170 kW charging capacity takes centre stage. This advancement permits the Q8 E-Tron to achieve an 80% charge from 10% in just 31 minutes. The EPA estimates a range of up to 459 km on a single charge, an improvement of about 98 km from the previous version.

Power outputs remain consistent. The 55 model, employing dual-motor all-wheel drive, delivers up to 300 kW and 664 N.m of torque in sport mode. On the other hand, the SQ8 Audi e-tron features three electric motors, 122 kW up front and two 97 kW units at the rear, generating a combined 364 kW and 973 N.m of torque in Sport mode. Acceleration-wise, the 55 achieves 0-100 km/h in around 5,6 seconds, while the SQ8 manages 4,5 seconds. Top speeds are capped at 200 km/h for the 55 and 210 km/h for the SQ8 E-Tron
