BMW has launched the new BMW X3 xDrive20d xLine in India at Rs 67.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India). This new trim is positioned below the recently launched BMW X3 xDrive20d M Sport, which is currently priced at Rs 69.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
That being said, the newly launched BMW X3 xDrive20d xLine is powered by the same 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine as the BMW X3 xDrive20d M Sport. This engine in the new BMW X3 SUV is tuned to produce 190bhp of power and 400Nm of torque.
Moreover, the new BMW X3 xDrive20d xLine SUV comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. Thanks to this setup, the BMW X3 xDrive20d xLine can accelerate from a standstill to 100km/h in just 7.9 seconds and attain a top speed of 213km/h.
In terms of design, the new BMW X3 xDrive20d xLine looks slightly less sporty compared to the M Sport variant with its less aggressive front and rear bumpers. Other changes include the lack of gloss black elements on the exterior of the SUV.
That being said, the new BMW X3 xDrive20d xLine SUV continues to look very modern with its large single-piece kidney grille, flatter-looking LED headlights, and strong creases and body lines.
In terms of features, the new BMW X3 xDrive20d xLine comes with a large panoramic glass roof, gesture control, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster with 3D navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, parking assistant plus with 360-degree camera, 464W Harman Kardon Surround Sound system with 16 speakers, and more.
It is also worth mentioning that the new BMW X3 xDrive20d xLine is a quite practical SUV with its large 550-litre boot. This boot space can be further expanded to 1600 litres by folding down the 40/20/40 split rear seats as well.
Safety features on the BMW X3 xDrive20d xLine include 6 airbags, an electric parking brake, auto hold, side-impact protection, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Attentiveness Assistance, ‘Automatic Differential Brakes/Locks’ (ADB-X), Dynamic Traction Control’ (DTC), Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, and more.
