The Audi A4 Allroad is the perfect car for anyone that needs to traverse the roads untraveled but wants the comfort of a luxury car. No, the A4 Allroad won’t be able to climb over any crazy rock fixtures or boulders, but it can do a little off-roading. In essence, the A4 Allroad is a lifted version of the Audi A4 sedan, so it has the ground clearance to get across that dirt roadway with ease while wrapping you in comfort. Here is what we can expect from the forthcoming 2023 Audi A4 Allroad.

Although there’s no official word from Audi, we expect that the 2023 Audi A4 Allroad should make its appearance in dealer showrooms by the fourth quarter of this year. The 2022 models are still be sold at this current time, so we’ll have to wait for 2023 models to start popping up later this year. Of course, that’s barring any global shortages that may get in the way.

Considering it looks like the Audi A4 Allroad will be a carryover model for 2023, we expect that it will carry the same MSRP as the 2022 model. As such, the base A4 Allroad Premium should cost around $45,500 (before the destination charge). Stepping up to the Premium Plus model will cost around $49,700 and the top-trim Prestige model will likely be priced at $55,400.
In terms of the best trim for the money, we recommend the A4 Allroad Premium Plus model as it comes with the Virtual Cockpit display, lane-keeping assist, front and rear parking sensors, and a memory seat for the driver.

Since the A4 Allroad formula isn’t likely to change for 2023, the standard features and options should remain largely the same. In that case, every A4 Allroad is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that’s mated to a 12-volt hybrid system. Altogether, the power duo generates 261 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 7-speed DCT that transmits the power to all four wheels.
According to Audi, the A4 Allroad can scoot to 60 mph from a standstill in just 5.5 seconds, which is great for a wagon. But the car’s performance isn’t its main highlight. Comfort is where it counts when it comes to luxury cars and the A4 Allroad doesn’t disappoint. It comes standard with a leather interior, power-adjustable front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and tri-zone auto climate control.

There’s plenty of cargo room, thanks to its wagon shape. According to Car and Driver’s testing, the A4 Allroad was able to fit six carry-on luggage bags in its cargo area. That means that it can not only carry five adults in comfort, but it can carry all of their stuff too.
In some ways, the Audi A4 Allroad is a Swiss Army knife when it comes to luxury cars with off-road capability. It may not get you over those crazy boulders or rock fixtures, but it can definitely get you to that remote cabin in the woods in style.
