Ford has revealed pictures of the 2022 Ranger dual-cab ute dressed up in a range of accessories.
The image below was posted on Twitter by a Ford designer, and shows a 2022 Ranger XLT fitted with a full front bull bar, driving lights, and a snorkel.
It also has guards for the front wheel arches and rock rails, sports bars for the tray, and a roof rack. More images from the Ford Australia website show Rangers kitted out for camping, off-roading, and adventuring.
The ARB logo is visible on some of the accessories, which should come as no surprise.
The Australian off-road giant has been an official Ford partner since earlier in 2021, and sells accessories such as bull bars, snorkels, lights, and canopies through the Blue Oval’s dealer network.
Although it’s an Australian company, ARB is also developing accessories for the US-market Ford Bronco and Ranger.
The company has a left-hand drive Bronco on Australian soil to develop its range, which will include bumpers, rock sliders, modular drawers, and differential covers.
While statistics vary by brand, it’s common for Australians to drop a few thousand dollars modifying their ute or four-wheel drive wagon through the aftermarket.
Ford has previously said all the ARB accessories being rolled out at its dealers have gone through a validation process, including testing at its Lara proving ground in regional Victoria.
It’ll be a while before we see the accessories in action on customer cars, given the new Ranger won’t be in showrooms until the middle of 2022.

As with the outgoing Ranger, the new model’s global research and development program was run by Ford’s Product Development Centre right here in Australia, overseeing around 2000 engineers and designers.
That means the 180-plus markets around the world that receive the Ranger will continue to have a little piece of Aussie ingenuity in them, for at least the next decade or so. Ford calls the Ranger its “one true global truck”.
This new model has huge shoes to fill, with the outgoing Ranger oscillating between number-one and two on the overall sales charts in Australia. The Ford and its Toyota HiLux rival sit head and shoulders above the competition in the sales race.
