2022 Ford Everest (Endeavour)
Ford, is renowned for making some of the best cars out there and they, unfortunately, had to put a full stop to their story in India due to poor sales. The American brand had lost over $2-Billion in the past 20 years in India. Despite incurring financial losses, Ford continued to invest in its India business. Ford even briefly tried to partner with Mahindra. With losses raking up due to poor sales and an aging product line, Ford was left with no choice but to pull the plug.
Nonetheless, rumours suggest that Ford might restart its business in India. According to a recent report, Ford receiving approval under the government’s PLI scheme has come up. So, it could be a sign that the brand might indeed be planning to make a comeback to India.
Needless to say, the global debut of the 2022 Everest (Endeavour) has gotten us excited as well. The Endy after all was incredibly popular, apart from the EcoSport. But for now, there is no confirmation that Ford is planning to launch this SUV in India. It’s a mystery and so all one can do is wait for the brand’s return!
But until that happens, let us take a look at the global model.
Design Characteristics
The mid-size SUV comes with a front fascia that bears a lot of resemblance to the Ford Ranger
Does it look better?
The 2022 Ford Everest, known as the Endeavour in India, comes with a stylish front end. To begin with, the front fascia has a lot of resemblance to the Ford Ranger. We say this because it comes with similar-looking Matrix LED headlights. Further, the SUV has Muscular contour lines that make it look aggressive. Now, this comes as no surprise as the Everest has always been based on the Ranger pickup.
Moving on, the top Platinum trim of the SUV is equipped with 21-inch wheels. They add to the style quotient of the SUV’s side profile as well. Moving to the tail section, the Everest has a sweet rear end. The taillights have a bar that runs throughout the width of the tailgate, making it look like a single unit.
All in all, it's an uber-cool looking SUV from every angle
