What is new on the Audi Q7 facelift?
While Audi introduced the Q7 facelift back in 2019, it did not reach the Indian market. The facelift is now here and it looks very different from the pre-facelift model that was on sale in the Indian market.

The new Q7 retains its station-wagon inspired design while the front-end gets updated thoroughly. The new SUV gets a much larger single-frame grille and gets new Matrix LED headlamps as well. Audi has also updated the LED daytime running lamps in the car giving it a new identity.

The rear also gets updated with a chrome stripe. The bumper is new. The overall length is up by 11mm and there are new colour options as well.

Audi has updated the cabin as well and there are many changes. The new Q7 facelift gets a dual-screen MMI infotainment system similar to the Audi Q8. Customers can choose from two colour options as well.
The twin-screen set-up consists of a large 10.1-inch screen at the upper half of the dashboard and a smaller 8.6-inch touchscreen system for the climate control system. It also gets the second-generation Audi cockpit instrument cluster.

The standard feature list includes a panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control system, adjustable ambient lighting system, 3D sound system, electrically-powered front seats with memory function.
The Q7 also gets eight airbags and there is a bunch of other features like ESC, Park Assist Plus with 360-degree 3D surround camera and lane-keep assist.

The Audi Q7 is the only car in the segment to offer three-row seating. In the pre-facelift model, the spare tyre was kept strapped to one of the seats in the last row. However, Audi has now freed up space by adding Run-flat tyres to the car.

The new Q7 has become more fuel-efficient with hybrid technology. With the new Q7, Audi only offers a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine. It gets a 48V mild-hybrid system as well. The hybrid system turns off the engine for up to 40 seconds while coasting on the highways substantially reducing fuel usage.

The Audi Q7’s hybrid engine generates a maximum power of 340 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque. Audi offers only one eight-speed automatic transmission with the car that sends power to all four wheels through Audi’s Quattro technology.
