  • BMW 520i
  • BMW 520d
  • BMW 520d xDrive
  • BMW 530i
  • BMW 530i xDrive
  • BMW 540i xDrive

EV and hybrid 5 Series models:

  • BMW i5 eDrive40
  • BMW i5 M60 xDrive

Compared to its predecessor, the new 5 Series is longer, wider, and taller, with a lengthened wheelbase. The front view features a modern interpretation of the twin headlights and BMW kidney grille, while the side view showcases powerful surfaces and distinctive character lines. The rear end is characterized by flat rear lights divided by a chrome strip.

The all-electric BMW i5 comes in two variants: the high-performance BMW i5 M60 xDrive and the BMW i5 eDrive40. The BMW i5 M60 xDrive combines a powerful up to 442 kW, while the BMW i5 eDrive40 offers rear-wheel drive and a maximum output of 250 kW. The new BMW 5 Series sedan introduces innovative eCharging solutions, including AC charging and DC fast charging capabilities. BMW Charging offers connected home charging, solar and load-optimized charging, and bidirectional charging options for future vehicle generations. The vehicle is also compatible with the Plug & Charge function, allowing seamless authentication at compatible public charging stations.

The new Bavarian sedan excels in balancing driving dynamics and travel comfort. It features advanced chassis technology, including sports suspension, electronically controlled shock absorbers, and Integral Active Steering. The vehicle offers partially automated driving features such as the optional Driving Assistant Professional, which includes Steering and Lane Control Assist, Distance Control with Stop & Go function, and the innovative Active Lane Change Assistant with eye confirmation. The enhanced BMW iDrive display and control system, based on BMW Operating System 8.5, offers a redesigned home screen with “QuickSelect” functionality.

In terms of safety, the new BMW 5 Series Sedan incorporates advanced driver assistance systems. These include the optional Driving Assistant Professional mentioned earlier, as well as features like Lane Departure Warning, Frontal Collision Warning with City Collision Mitigation, and Blind Spot Detection. The vehicle also includes BMW’s latest generation of active safety technologies, ensuring a high level of protection for occupants and pedestrians.

Inside the vehicle, the new BMW 5 Series Sedan offers spaciousness, modern functionality, acoustic comfort, and high-quality “vegan” materials. The cockpit features a significantly reduced number of buttons and controls, thanks to digitalization. The BMW Curved Display, consisting of a 12,3-inch Information Display and a 14,9-inch Control Display, replaces traditional instrumentation. The interior is the brand’s first model to feature a fully vegan standard interior, including seats, dashboard, door panels, and steering wheel.
