Every now and then, a car comes along that pleasantly surprises you. The new Audi RS3 Sedan is one such car. Reservations aside, one cannot deny that the spirit of the Group B rally era is strong with this one.
The Audi RS3, now in its third generation, has carved a name for itself in the compact performance hatch and sedan segment. The latest version is heavily reworked and reimagined, offering up a 2.5-litre, 5-cylinder engine that produces no less than 294 kW of power and 500 Nm torque.
Sending power to all four wheels through a revised quattro system means that the RS3 Sedan will sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.8-seconds thanks to its launch control. Cornering prowess is amplified through the use of a new twin-clutch system that replaces the central differential. This also means that the RS3 will do crazy slides when set to RS Toque mode.
