Hyundai launched the current-generation i20 in mid-2021, and with the product celebrating nearly two years in the marketplace, let's see which variant depreciates the fastest.
The i20 finally received a turbocharged engine when the latest generation was introduced to the local market in 2021, and judging by the number of i20 models for sale on AutoTrader, the new model has been a hit with local drivers. Today we are going to look at two-year-old i20s with less than 40 000km on the clock to determine which variant has lost the most value.

Verdict
The i20 range as a whole appears to retain value very well, however, external factors have driven up the price of new vehicles over the past two years, and have subsequently made the used pricing of products appear reasonable, despite the fact that many cars sell for close to their retail price many years later. The 1.2 Motion i20 appears to lose the most value, however, this could also be because the Motion is the most popular variant among our search criteria.
