The anticipated arrival of the Lamborghini Urus Plug-in Hybrid is reaching a fever pitch, and this latest video from the Nurburgring isn't helping ease the excitement. After Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann confirmed that the model should be announced by the end of the year, the electrified Urus keeps coming out of the woodwork.
In the video, we can see the Lamborghini test team having a field day with up-and-coming models from the supercar brand, such as the Sterrato, Revuelto, Tecnica, and the Urus PHEV Prototype. It's a short video, but it gives us a glimpse of what we can expect from the Italian supercar brand.
The upcoming Lamborghini Urus PHEV uses Porsche components, featuring a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and an electric motor, delivering an expected 800 horsepower.
The Urus PHEV is among Lamborghini's initial steps into introducing an all-electric version by 2029. Along with its powerful hybrid engine, the Urus PHEV will showcase unique design elements and improved aerodynamics. With a large battery pack, it's expected to offer an extended electric driving range compared to other plug-in hybrids.
With its gas-only counterpart selling well until the end of production, the plug-in and, consequently, the EV version is also expected to be popular among Lambo fans.

Both the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato and Huracan Tecnica were also present, with the Sterrato pulling off some epic slides on the famed Green Hell.
The Sterrato is essentially an elevated version of the Huracan, featuring a raised ride height with an additional two inches with underbody cladding, off-road tires, and a functional air snorkel to feed fresh, dirt-free air into the 602-horsepower 5.2-liter V10.
Joining these was the latest electrified offering from Sant'Agata Bolognese, the Revuelto. The Aventador replacement showcased its impressive performance on the track with its larger 6.5-liter V12 engine combined with three electric motors (1,001 hp).
It's clear Lamborghini engineers were having a field day, and we don't blame them.
