Electric vehicle start-up, Crayon Motors, has launched an updated version of its low-speed electric scooter, Envy in India. The new electric scooter is priced at ₹ 64,000, and it now comes with a more spacious under-seat storage, keyless start function and reverse assist function. The scooter is offered in four different colour options – white, black, blue, and silver, and comes with a 24-month warranty on its motor and controller. The scooter has a top speed of 25 kmph and does not require a driving license or registration to ride it.

The Crayon Envy electric scooter has been designed and manufactured locally, at Crayon Motors’ production facility in Ghaziabad. It comes with a 250 Watt high-efficiency BLDC motor, which is offered with either a 48-volt lead-acid battery or a 60-volt lithium-ion battery. The Envy comes in different variants, offering a range of up to 160 km on a single charge. The e-scooter comes with a set of 10-inch alloy wheels shod in tubeless tyres along with Electronic – Assisted Braking System (E-ABS) with regenerative braking technology.

In terms of looks and features, the scooter comes with a muscular design with attractive graphics, and it features dual headlights. The scooter is ergonomically built for light mobility needs and offers comfortable seating for the rider and pillion. The electric scooter measures 1880 mm in length, 710 mm in width and 1120 mm in height. The updated Envy is also equipped with several features, such as – Geo Tagging, Digital speedometer, central locking system, and mobile charging. The scooter also comes with the unique reverse assist option, that lets the scooter move forward and backwards.
