Uniqlo is launching a new ‘Pokemon Meets Artists’ UT collection in October. This collection comprises a variety of T-shirts and sweatshirts for adults and children, featuring designs by Meguru Yamaguchi and James Jarvis.
Yamaguchi is a New York-based artist well known in his native country of Japan, who uses his signature brush strokes to accentuate Pokemon in the heat of battle. These are meant to be stylised street art shirts, so expect some bold designs to come out of it. James Jarvis’ designs are a lot more playful in comparison, with cartoon-style illustrations of Pokemon.
Both the artists seem to strike a nice balance for this new line of clothing, though it’s all up to your tastes – and which shirt happens to have your favourite Pokemon, we’re sure. The collection’s line-up for adults will launch on 25 October, with the kids’ clothing line releasing later In the year. The adults’ line-up includes five T-shirts and four sweatshirts.
You can find the Pokemon Meets Artists UT collection in stores and on Uniqlo’s website.
