However, I did find the new T-plane mild motor’s vibration-prone characteristics less appealing compared to the smoother triple of the previous generation.
The seamlessly integrated electronics operate flawlessly, showcasing a high level of sophistication.
When it comes to handling and performance, the Tiger 1200 GT Pro delivers a memorable experience.
Its 1,215cc engine packs a punch, generating a maximum power output of 147hp and 130Nm of torque.
It has enough torque to satisfy my need for speed but definitely not fast enough to catch up with my mate who was riding a Ducati Panigale.
Coupled with a precise six-speed transmission, the bike offers seamless and controlled gear shifts.
The Tiger 1200 GT Pro excels in cornering thanks to its well-balanced chassis, enabling precise and stable handling.
The agility of the bike is commendable despite the size.

Meanwhile off-road, the bike handles rough terrain with ease, courtesy of its long-travel suspension and rugged chassis.
Equipped with dual 320mm floating discs at the front and a single 282mm disc at the rear, the bike delivers one of the best stopping capabilities.
The inclusion of ABS ensures quick and safe stops in all situations.
Remarkably, the bike’s braking performance excels even in wet conditions, thanks to a well-designed traction control system that prevents wheel lock-up.
The brakes offer excellent feedback, enabling riders to precisely modulate braking power.
I was truly impressed by the exceptional performance of the traction control system when I encountered a dangerous situation on the Karak highway.
Despite the presence of an oil spill, which made the road dangerously wet and slippery, the traction control system delivered a remarkable grip that proved to be invaluable.
It was an intense moment, and I must admit it was a close call, but thanks to the system’s effectiveness, I was able to navigate through the hazardous conditions and come out safe.
In the city, the Tiger 1200 GT Pro surprised me with its nimbleness, aided by an upright riding position and wide handlebar, making manoeuvring through traffic a breeze.
The Tiger 1200 GT PRO represents a significant improvement compared with its predecessor.
It offers a superior package, with compact balance and handling dynamics critical to the new model’s appeal.
The new engine outperforms the previous model in almost every aspect, contributing to an overall superior machine.
In summary, the Tiger 1200 GT Pro is a must-have adventure motorcycle that combines outstanding performance, versatility, and advanced features.
