Ferrari and Lamborghini are two of the top supercar brands in the world – and are highly desired among South African drivers.
This is evidenced by the fact the two brands sold several supercars in South Africa during 2020, the majority of which retailed well above the R5-million mark.
The sales numbers are based on the 2020 new car sales report from the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (NAAMSA).
In the report, NAAMSA outlined the best-selling passenger vehicles in South Africa for 2020 – including sales from Ferrari and Lamborghini.
Top-sellers
The list below details the top-selling new Ferrari and Lamborghini models in South Africa for 2020.
It must be noted that only models which the manufacturers list as new were included in this article.
This is particularly important to note for Ferrari, as the company sold several 488 models in South Africa last year.
The 488 is listed as a “past model” on Ferrari’s local website, however, and no new pricing is provided for the vehicle.
Along with the number of units sold during 2020, the starting price for each car is also listed.
