Three New Variants Of Chevrolet Colorado Launched In Malaysia

Naza Quest Sdn Bhd, the sole importer and distributor of Chevrolet vehicles in Malaysia has introduced the X Edition range of the Colorado pickup truck in 3 variants – the Colorado X, Colorado X-Urban and Colorado X-ADV, to cater to different consumer preferences.

“It has a been a while since we launched the new Colorado late last year in 2016 and we would like to add more vibrant and wider options for the consumer to choose from. This new variant shows how sleek or rugged the standard Colorado can become.” said Farid Rosli, Vice President 1 of Naza Quest.

All 3 variants have additional cosmetic enhancements over the standard Colorado. The X Edition range starts with the Colorado X which accentuates black (with black Chevrolet bowtie emblems, an X-brand hood and bedliner decal, black hood and tailgate decals, black/chrome fuel cover, and black coated rims. The Colorado X is priced from RM 113,248.28.

Next up is the Colorado X-Urban which gets all the Colorado X’s dressing but adds on 20″ black Fuel rims with rim cone, black fender flares and HT tires. The Colorado X-Urban is priced from RM 131,798.28.

Topping it off is the Colorado X-ADV (also with the black trimmings) which includes a new sport bar, 16″ black Fuel rims, mud terrain tires, black side steps, black front grille panel, rear bumper, side mirrors and door handles as well as Old Man Emu 4×4 suspension system that increases the ride height and is tuned for optimum comfort, load-carrying and off-roading. The Colorado X-ADV is priced from RM 145,578.28.

All 3 Colorado variants are powered by a 2.5-liter Duramax turbo diesel engine with Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT). This engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic (or manual) transmission and produces 180 hp and 440 Nm of torque.

Additionally, the Colorado has sound deadener around the injectors, revised body, cabin and engine mounts, and a rigid chassis, to improve NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) levels.

The Colorado is also equipped with Traction Control System, Panic Brake Assist, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, front & rear parking sensors, reverse camera tire pressure monitoring system, automatic headlamps & rain sensor, 2 front airbags and driver’s knee airbag, as well as Apple CarPlay with voice recognition and Siri Eyes Free.
