Hyundai Venue made its debut in the country in 2019 and soon became one of the most popular offerings from the brand. The compact SUV offers a value-for-money package with great looks and Hyundai’s trust.
The brand is currently working on a facelift of this compact SUV which has been spied at multiple locations in South Korea, hence confirming the reports of a facelift model. After South Korea, the facelift model has now been spotted in India ahead of the official launch. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Hyundai Venue.
What Is Different On Upcoming Hyundai Venue?
The Venue takes on the rivals like the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Brezza and the Renault Kiger
While the test mule spied was heavily camouflaged, we did get enough hints about the design. For starters, the front of the car is expected to feature a new front grille which might remind you of the Alcazar. Along with this, it will also get an updated bumper at the front.
The car will retain its split headlamps featuring a square-ish design with a halogen projector setup and LED daytime running lamps. On the side, the Venue facelift will offer a new set of diamond cut alloy wheels while the overall silhouette is expected to remain similar.
Changes at the rear are a few but noticeable. To start with, the car will get a new split LED tail lamp arrangement in an inverted L shape. The bumper has been updated and now features a rear fog lamp, reflectors and reversing lights. It is also worth noting that a test mule with a twin-exhaust tip setup was recently spotted in South Korea, hence suggesting a launch of the Venue N Line soon. The cabin of the Venue facelift is expected to feature minor updates.
Could The Upcoming Venue Get A New Engine?

The new Hyundai Venue facelift is not expected to get any mechanical changes and will be offered with the same engine options. At present, the Venue is offered with three engine options – 1.2L NA petrol, 1.0L Turbo Petrol, and 1.5L diesel.
The 1.2-litre engine puts out 83 PS and 114 Nm of peak torque while it comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine on the other hand churns out 120 PS and 172 Nm of peak torque.
You can get this engine is available with a 6-speed intelligent manual transmission, 6-speed manual gearbox, or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre diesel engine puts out 100PS and 240 Nm of peak torque and comes mated to only a 6-Speed manual gearbox only.
