The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) wants drivers of the Audi A4 and Toyota Wish involved in yesterday’s road rage incident to present themselves at the nearest police station to assist in investigation on the incident that has since gone viral.
Yesterday, dashcam recording of an Audi A4 with registration number VK 630 and a Toyota Wish with registration number WSQ 8384 driving aggressively in an apparent road rage incident caught the attention of Seremban district police headquarters.
The Audi A4 was also seen overtaking using the emergency lane, an act which occupants in the vehicle with the dashcam said the Audi has been doing for quite a while.
According to Seremban district police chief, the incident happened at around noon time on 1-May 2022, in the south-bound direction of the PLUS highway, between kilometre 269 and kilometre 238.
The police chief added that their actions had also endangered other road users, and the video also showed one of the vehicles overtaking on the emergency lane.
“The owners or drivers of the said vehicles are requested to present themselves at the Seremban district police headquarters or any nearby police station to assist in the investigation. The case will be investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. Investigations are still on-going,” the Seremban district police chief told the media yesterday.
