Mini has launched the all-electric Cooper SE in India. The car will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU) and is priced at Rs. 47.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The all-electric Mini Cooper SE is based on the 3-door model. It is available in four colour options: White Silver, Midnight Black, Moonwalk Grey and British Racing Green. The car gets striking Energetic Yellow accents on the exterior and 17-inch Electric Power Spoke alloy wheels.
Inside, the all-electric Mini comes equipped with sports seats with cloth/leatherette upholstery in Black Pearl and Carbon Black, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a new 5-inch digital instrument cluster.
The Mini Cooper SE uses an electric motor that makes 181 BHP and 270 Nm. It is powered by a 32.6 kWh battery that offers a maximum range of 270 km. The battery can be charged to 80% in just 36 minutes using a 50 kW DC charge. An 11 kW AC charger can recharge the battery in 2 hours and 30 minutes, while it takes 9 hours and 43 minutes to recharge the battery using a 2.3 kW AC charger.
