European-spec C 300 e
A plug-in hybrid version of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is now available in Thailand in the guise of the Mercedes-Benz C 350 e AMG Dynamic. Fetching a price of 3,350,000-baht (approx. RM 425,439), the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) C350e is now sold alongside the diesel-powered C 220 d Avantgarde.
In Malaysia, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is sold in two versions, namely the C 200 Avantgarde and the C 300 AMG Line. With the PHEV C-Class now available in Thailand and Singapore, it might just make its way to Malaysia soon.

Powering the Thai-spec Mercedes-Benz C 350 e is a hybrid powertrain that consists of a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that makes 204 hp (metric) and 320 Nm. Working together with the turbocharged engine is an electric motor that makes 129 hp (metric) and 440 Nm. Combined, the hybrid system makes 313 hp (metric) and 500 Nm. All power is sent to the rear wheels via a 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission and the car does the 0-100km/h acceleration in 6.1 seconds.
Storing power for the electric drive system is a 25.4-kWh battery that gives the car an all-electric driving range of 100 km (WLTP). A plus point of the C 350 e PHEV is that it can handle DC fast charging at a rate of 50 kW, allowing you to charge the car in 30 minutes. With 11-kW AC charging, you can ‘refill’ the battery in 2 hours.
