After a long time, DC2 is back in action and this is what he’s been upto
DC2 formerly known as DC Design has some of the most cringe-worthy car designs in the past. Well, after a hiatus, DC2 is back making eye-popping ‘wide-body kits’. The latest car that gets the DC2 treatment is the Mercedes-Benz GLA SUV.
What are the changes in DC2 Mercedes-Benz GLA?
DC Design has modified this Mercedes-Benz
There are so many that you will not be able to recognise the car. The front-end looks completely different. The grille is now replaced with a new one and it is painted in body colour. There are massive slots in the grille and somehow, the large fake air scoops add a Lamborghini Urus feel to the vehicle.
Even the bonnet design is new and it gets a sloping design. DC2 has added very sleek LED headlamp units. They do look great on the car.
Is this the weirdest looking Mercedes-Benz ever?
Since it is a wide-body kit, the Mercedes-Benz GLA also gets flared wheel arches. The massive arches definitely add a dominating look to the overall design.
The rear design will confuse you. There is a massive plastic bumper with huge scoops. We are not sure if the tailgate is still operational in this car. The tail lamp units are new as well. In fact, the modification job gets a massive light bar. There are chrome tailpipes as well.
DC2 is popular for converting regular cars to lounges. But there is no information on the cabin of this SUV.
But can you guess, which SUV is lying underneath?
There are no mechanical changes in this vehicle. All the changes are visual and they really make the car stand out. Don’t they?
DC2 is yet to comment on the price of this but it can cost a few lakhs. In India, where the structural changes in cars are illegal, such bolt-on kits are perfectly legal and can be used on any car.
