Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has geared up its Pekan assembly plant production of the recently-launched 2nd generation Volkswagen Tiguan, to meet the market demand.
To recap, the Tiguan was launched last month (April 2017) in two variants – Comfortline (RM 148,990) and Highline (RM 168,990).
Said Mr Erik Winter, Managing Director of VPCM, “We are pleased to announce that the Tiguan Highline has been very well-received by Malaysians, and the Comfortline has also caught the eyes of those looking for quality, value-for- money German engineering. The Pekan Plant is working hard on its production timeline to guarantee stock availability, and customers can be rest assured that we will be doing our utmost best to ensure and smooth and fast delivery to our new owners.” VPCM has also announced the availability of a brand new color, Crimson Red, for the Tiguan to complement the 5 existing colors – Pure White, Deep Black, Atlantic Blue, Tungsten Silver and Indium Grey.
The Tiguan also comes with 5 years’ manufacturer’s warranty and 5 years’ roadside assistance. And for a limited period, VPCM is offering the App Connect function as complimentary in the Tiguan Highline.
