Toyota held a presentation this week announcing plans to launch 30 electric vehicles in Toyota and Lexus brands by 2030. We got a first look at more than a dozen new electric vehicles, one of which was a Lexus supercar with an LFA-inspired design.
Toyota Sport EV
Also featured was a Toyota sports car that happens to look like a modern interpretation of the MR2. It comes in the following years, along with an electric pickup about the size of the Tacoma and an electric SUV reminiscent of the former FJ Cruiser.
2022 Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo
One of the vehicles we tested this week was Porsche’s new Taycan Sport Turismo, in Taycan’s new GTS rank. Porsche presents the Taycan GTS as the sportiest of its electric cars, and its combination with the body style of the Sport Turismo creates one practical speed machine.

An updated Porsche 911 Turbo with an updated design and probably more power was also observed this week. It is expected to arrive in 2023 with an upgraded version of the flat-6 of the current model. Although it has not yet been approved, the updated 911 Turbo S may include a new hybrid propulsion system.
2023 Genesis G90
Genesis has revealed more details about the revamped G90 that will head to showrooms next year, including the interior design of the new flagship. The brand is delaying the full details until closer to the market launch, but we can confirm that the standard propulsion system will be a 3.5-liter V-6 dual-turbocharged.
2022 Ford Everest teases for premiere in the first quarter of 2022
Ford has a soon-to-be-redesigned Ranger for showrooms, and the new pickup is set to spawn an SUV version called the Everest. Ford has released new teaser footage showing a prototype. Do not rely on the SUV to reach the local showrooms, as it is more related to the global ranger rather than the ranger we get.
