Fresh off their best sales year ever, it seems the famed Italian brand is rewarding its customer base and petrolheads at large by releasing the last pure-ICE models in their lineup with the Huracan and Urus to “conclude the age of internal combustion engines.”

What this means is that all future endeavours from the Raging Bull will either be hybridised or fully electric in the future which includes the V12 powered Aventador successor confirmed for 2023.

Back onto the topic of what we can expect in terms of the new Huracan and Urus then. While nothing has been confirmed, the off-road oriented Huracan Sterrato concept which debuted in June 2019 is a probable contender while a more subtle STO named the JV Stradale is also in the works. Both new models have been spotted undergoing testing so unless they are canned and replaced at the last minute, they are highly likely.

The Urus super SUV is expected to receive a higher output twin-turbocharged V8 engine in a hotter EVO version and if the Huracan Sterrato is anything to go by, Lamborghini may even have a production version of the ST-X concept in the works which was an more off-road capable version shown in November of 2018.
Thereafter, the popular SUV that has carried the majority of sales for the brand will be succeeded by its first EV powered SUV which will arrive in 2028 and be called the Urraco.
