The Italian supercar manufacturer, Lamborghini has delivered its 400th supercar in India. The occasion marked a new milestone for Lamborghini’s journey in India.
Speaking about the Italian supercar manufacturer’s journey in India, Lamborghini started its operations in India back in 2007.
To conquer this extremely niche market, Lamborghini has to fend off more manufacturers than the actual monthly sales of the market itself.
Speaking about the competition, the Indian supercar market is very competitive with brands such as Ferrari, Bently, Aston Martin, Porsche, Nissan, etc – All fighting for a tiny market space in the country.
To mark the new milestone, Lamborghini India organised its third edition of Lamborghini Day – Bringing their customers and their supercars to Goa.
The third edition of Lamborghini Day was celebrated with 40 Lamborghini customers in an extravagant lifestyle event that lasted around 3 days. The event was not only attended by the respective owners of the Lamborghini supercars but it was also attended by their spouses and kids.
Speaking about the Lamborghini Day, the event was hosted at a luxury resort in South Goa with a sundown party comprising of a band and DJ that went on till the early hours of the next day.
After a good rest for the Lamborghini owners, the Day 2 celebration of the Lamborghini Day started with 40 Lamborghinis lining up at the resort driveway. Out of the 40 Lamborghinis, there was only one Lamborghini Aventador, the rest of the supercars were either Huracan or Urus.
As part of the Lamborghini Day, the team at Lamborghini selected a special route that made sure none of the supercars scraped their bottom. The route also ensured all Lamborghini customers got beautiful views Goa had to offer.
Thanks to this event, people in Goa lined up to see these raging bulls on the Goan roads – Indeed creating a memorable event for the public.
After the event, the Lamborghini owners were treated to some outstanding Goan cuisine and coolers to beat the high humidity of Goa. After which, the proud Lamborghini owners were once again regrouped for an extravagant dinner.
An interesting fact is that Lamborghini recently celebrated the 300 car milestone in September 2021. This means the Italian supercar manufacturer sold 100 more cars in just 6 months after that.
One of the reasons for this major jump in sales for Lamborghini could be credited to the launch of the Lamborghini Urus. Unlike other Lamborghinis, the Urus is an SUV, thus making it far more practical and better suited for Indian roads.
Speaking about the Lamborghini Urus, the Italian supercar manufacturer will soon unveil the updated version of the Lamborghini Urus SUV.
Thoughts About Lamborghini’s 400 Unit Milestone
