What looks to be the Italian supercar maker's new flagship has been shown fully undisguised before its reveal later this year.

Photos of what appear to be Lamborghini’s Aventador successor were published to Instagram on Monday, giving us our best look yet at the Italian supercar maker’s upcoming hybrid V-12 flagship.
User automotive_mike on Instagram published an image showing two three-quarter angles of the yet-to-be-named supercar from Lamborghini. The aggressive, angular design matches up with spy photos and patent images, leading us to believe this is, in fact, the real deal way before we’re supposed to see it.
Design-wise, the Aventador successor borrows much of its style from limited-production and one-off cars like the Sián FKP 37 and Terzo Millennio. There are Y-shaped headlights and taillights, hexagonal tailpipes, and pronounced intakes along either side of the car.

Lamborghini has already confirmed the Aventador successor will be powered by a hybrid-assisted naturally aspirated V-12. What we don’t know are things like performance numbers or power output, though we do expect it to easily outperform the aging Aventador’s powertrain. The car should be out by March, so we’ll know more then.
