UK-market GLC 300 Coupe on the left, and in this article
With a combined output of 320 PS/700 Nm, smoking sports cars are the 300e Coupe's domain. For Malaysians who can afford it, this will be something they can do soon as the model has been teased once more, prior to its launch soon.
It's the continuation of last weeks' sneak peek, in which the front of the car was shown. Now we have a look at the swoopy rear, which all but confirms the 'Coupe' suffix.
Looks cool enough?
Pair that with the 'Take Charge. Plugging in soon' copy and there's your hints at electrification, considering the GLC 300e Coupe is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV). Of course, paired to the 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder mill that makes 211 PS/350 Nm is a 122 PS/440 Nm electric motor, so it's a potent powerhouse any which way it's put.
A 9-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive makes up the other fun technical bits, but further details about its feature set for Malaysia we'll have to wait till it's launched proper.

The sole GLC Coupe available right now is the locally-assembled (CKD) GLC 300 Coupe, priced from RM 403,536 (OTR sans SST). Seeing as its stablemate is CKD, the GLC 300e PHEV could be assembled here too. If that's the case it will net tax reductions, making pricing a little more enticing – how much is your guess?
