KUALA LUMPUR: Following the successful launch of BYD in Malaysia, with 1,000 orders received for the Energy Awaken Atto 3 within just 10 days, BYD is marking another exciting milestone, delivering the first 100 units of the all-electric sports utility vehicle (SUV) to Malaysian customers.
Among the first 100 customers to receive the BYD Atto 3 was one Mr Goh, who said:
“BYD is a global best-selling electric vehicle (EV) brand, I knew of this brand much earlier before it launched, so when I learned that it was coming to Malaysia, I felt it was the perfect opportunity and quickly placed a booking!
“When I first saw it here, I have to say the design, specifications and performance of the BYD Atto 3 truly surpassed my expectations, and on top of all that driving an EV is also better for the environment,” he said.

Available in two variants, the Atto 3 is priced from RM149,800 for the Standard Range and RM167,800 for the Extended Range, with five vibrant colours of Surf Blue, Parkour Red, Boulder Grey, Forest Green and Ski White.
The Atto 3 comes with state-of-the art features and offers an excellent battery range capable of travelling up to 480km on a single charge.
Built on BYD’s cutting-edge technology with the e-platform 3.0, the high-performance EV is equipped with intelligence, efficiency, unparalleled safety standards and stunning aesthetics.
