It is the second model in the Xpeng’s Mona mass-market series aimed at young buyers. According to Xpeng, over 72% of interior of the Xpeng Mona L03 is covered with soft-touch materials. The car’s ceiling is wrapped with velvet, similar to flagship models that cost around 500,000 yuan (73,490 USD). Credit: Xpeng The center console of the Xpeng Mona L03 adopts a large 15.6-inch floating touchschreen. The car has no conventional instrument cluster. Instead, it comes standard with a 26.8-inch head-up display. Another highlight of this SUV is a 4.15-meter-long ambient lighting strip that goes throughout the vehicle, supporting 256 color options. The car’s gear shifter sits behind a two-spoke steering wheel. A center console has two wireless charging pads, two cup holders, and a hidden storage compartment. At the same time, the L03 has almost no physical buttons. However, there are large vanity mirrors with dual soft-light deign for the driver and the front passenger. Interior of the Xpeng Mona L03 The Xpeng Mona L03 is a compact fastback crossover with dimensions of 4650/1920/1600 mm. The wheelbase reaches 2,850 mm. It rides of R18 or R20 wheels, depending on the trim level. The Xpeng Mona M03’s curb weight is 1,855 – 1,875 kg. The BEV variant of the car adopts a single electric motor for 183 kW (245 hp). It is paired with two LFP battery options for 56 and 69 kWh. The M03’s range lies between 505 and 650 km under CLTC conditions. The EREV variant of the car adopts the same e-motor, adding a 1.5-liter engine for 70 kW (94 hp). This variant can run up to 257 km in electric mode. It is worth noting that the Mona M03 liftback became the brand’s bestseller domestically. According to China EV DataTracker, Xpeng delivered 272,077 units of this vehicle to owners in China from August 2024 to May 2026.
