Elon Musk responds to Ford Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jim Farley after the latter boasted about leading the electric pickup truck market amid theTesla Cybertruck electric vehicle (EV) delays.
Farley called out the Tesla CEO, claiming that Ford is now the leader of all EV pickup trucks in the United States.

It is worth noting that the much-awaited pickup truck of Tesla, the Cybertruck, which Musk first teased last 2019, has yet to hit the roads following various production delays.
Elon Musk vs. Ford CEO Jim Farley
As per a news story by Business Insider, the big boss of Ford recently proudly announced that the American automaker is taking the lead in the new electric pickup truck market in the US.
No less than Farley himself says that the F-150 Lightning has helped the car maker to be what he claims touts as “the leader of all EV pickup trucks in our industry in the United States.”
The CEO states that its new EV pickup is a “shining light” for the automaker, which is now expanding its EV offerings.
Farley also notes that they are “really on a mission at Ford to lead an electric and digital revolution for many, not few.”
He then did not mince any words as he called out the mega-billionaire CEO and founder of the leader in EVs, Tesla. Ford’s boss bluntly added: “Take that, Elon Musk.”

Business Insider highlights in its news report that the Ford CEO seems to be alluding to the delays that the Tesla Cybertruck has been facing.
Even as it has been a few years since Musk first announced its electric pickup truck, he admits that it has yet to begin production next year or in 2023.
Tesla CEO Responds
Now, the ultra-rich entrepreneur has responded to the recent comments of Farley, according to the latest report by Electrek.
Farley did not hold back in his recent speech during the event between Ford and DTE Energy as he mentioned the name of no less than the Tesla CEO.
And as such, his comment did not take long before reaching Musk.
A Twitter user that goes by the name “Tesla 24|7” shared a clip of Farley calling out the Tesla boss.
Musk then responded to the tweet, saying, “Thanks, but I already have one.” Electrek notes that it seems that Musk was referring to the Tesla Cybertruck.

The renowned EV maker of Musk was actually the first automaker to unveil its plans to release an electric pickup truck.
However, other car makers have released their EV trucks even before Tesla could start the production of its Cybertruck.
