Caterham Project V teaser
► Project V concept teased
► Looks like something other than a Seven
► To be revealed in just over a month
Caterham is poised to reveal an all-new concept car, and it looks set to be unlike anything we’ve previously seen from the brand. Called Project V, the concept will be revealed in full in just over a month – but we do have a silhouette and name to mull over in the meantime.
So what is it?
The image released today shows a fully-surfaced shape with a real roofline and spoiler of sorts, suggesting this is a very different car to the style you’d usually associate Caterham with. Back in May this year, Caterham announced the appointment of Anthony Jannarelly as Chief Designer, and this new concept could represent the first fruits of his new role.
What we can estimate, however, is that this car won’t look like a traditional Seven.
What else do we know?
Very little. The Project V concept follows hot on the heels of the EV Seven, a car which looked towards an electrified future for the brand – so it’s possible this concept will run on some form of alternative fuel too.
We’ll update this article when we know more.
