Aligns UK's electric vehicle target with rest of Europe, PM says
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has announced that the ban on pure-petrol and diesel cars is being pushed back to 2035, which he says aligns the UK with target in other European countries and eases the burden on motorists during the cost of living crisis.
Sunak also announced he is scrapping proposed quotas on the number of passengers required in each car.
