Police in Abbotsford, B.C. are on the lookout for a luxury lawnmower that unintentionally found itself in the middle of a residential front yard on the evening of March 19.
The Vancouver suburb’s authorities Tweeted out a short video of the “black sports car” losing control while driving down the 2600 block of Sunnyside Street, and sliding onto the front lawn of someone’s house.
The car — which was quickly and correctly identified in the comments as a Lamborghini Huracan, thanks to its wide-set lights, distinct lines, and bumper intakes — doesn’t seem to strike anything other than the curb and some blades of grass. Its driver quickly reversed the car and took off, but police are still describing it as a “dangerous driving incident.”
The car appears to be travelling quite quickly as it comes into frame, but some citizens believe the event isn’t worth any police attention at all.
Is there more to this? Seems like a waste of resources for something this minor

But if speeding through a residential neighbourhood in a near-$300,000 supercar, then losing control and sliding completely over a sidewalk and onto a front lawn isn’t considered worthy of resources, then what is? Does a car have to fully crash into a home to warrant an investigation?
Abbotsford Police think not, and are asking anybody with information on the incident to contact them and reference AbbyPD File 22-11301.
