It set the record at Silverstone before the British Grand Prix.
Aston Martin celebrated its 110th anniversary this weekend by taking 110 vehicles spanning multiple decades to Silverstone. The Aston Martin Vantage led a pack of 110 cars on a celebratory lap, setting a new record for the most Aston Martins on track simultaneously.
The oldest car on the grid was the A3, which is Aston's oldest surviving car. It was joined by the DB3S, driven by Sir Stirling Moss, and the glorious DB5. Naturally, the latest model, the DB12, was also in attendance, joined by the Valkyrie, the Vantage F1 Safety Car, and the DBX707. The latter is Fernando Alonso's company car of choice.

Speaking of the Formula 1 legend, Aston Martin used the opportunity to open its new state-of-the-art Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula 1 Team Technology Campus, situated right next to the famous track. The new 400,000-square-foot facility played host to the 110 vehicles before the celebratory lap.
“We promised that 2023, Aston Martin's 110th anniversary year, would be a monumental one for the brand. Not only did we set out to introduce our highly anticipated next generation of sports cars, but we also made a pledge to create memorable moments for our owners, enthusiasts, and colleagues across the world to celebrate this significant moment in Aston Martin's history,” said Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman of Aston Martin. “In a season where Aston Martin has risen to become a new force in Formula 1, there is no place or time more fitting for our celebrations to take center stage than here at our home race at Silverstone, where we'll receive huge support this weekend.”

Aston Martin did not have a great day in the office at the 2023 British Grand Prix, but the brand is on an all-time high. The F1 team finished the 2022 season in seventh place, but it's currently in third place, hot on Mercedes' heels. This kind of monumental leap forward is almost unheard of in F1 and bodes well for the automaker, which claimed it would use the same approach to building road cars as it does with its F1 program.
For the first time in 110 years, the British brand isn't on the brink of bankruptcy and has even announced a partnership with Lucid to power its future BEV models.
Aston Martin says it will continue celebrating until it unveils a highly-exclusive, limited-edition model later this month. Given everything happening at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend, that seems like the most likely place to unveil something befitting the occasion.
