Revealed in June 2022, this second-generation GLC is packed with exciting features and improvements that will surely captivate the hearts of luxury SUV enthusiasts.
Under the bonnet, the GLC boasts three mild-hybridised, 2,0-litre powertrains, offering both petrol and diesel options to suit different preferences. Each engine is connected to a nine-speed automatic gearbox that powers all four wheels. The entry-level 220d packs a punch with 145 kW of power and 440 N.m of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h around the 8-second mark while maintaining an impressive claimed combined fuel economy of 4,9-5,1 L/100 km.

For those seeking more power, the petrol GLC 300 4Matic model delivers 190 kW of power and 400 N.m of torque, enabling a quicker acceleration time of 6,2 seconds, albeit with a slightly higher claimed fuel consumption of 7,2-8,2 L/100 km. At the top of the range, the GLC 300d takes the crown with 198 kW of power and a whopping 550 N.m of torque. While slightly slower in acceleration with a claimed time of 6,3 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, the diesel engine shines with its impressive average fuel usage of 5,6-6,2 L/100 km, showcasing the benefits of diesel technology.
Thanks to the addition of a 48V mild-hybrid system to all engines, the GLC now also boasts an extra 17 kW of over-boost, providing even quicker launches and a dynamic driving experience.
