Hyundai has fully revealed the 2023 Hyundai Palisade. The full-size 7-seater SUV from the South Korean automaker was revealed at the New York International Motor Show.
Speaking about the Hyundai Palisade, the 7-seater premium SUV was initially launched in South Korea back in December 2018 and the model has now completed more than three years of sales in the international markets.
Before revealing the 2023 Hyundai Palisade, the South Korean automaker has released a few teasers of the SUV and now Hyundai has fully revealed the Palisade SUV at the New York International Motorshow.
Since Hyundai has fully revealed the SUV, there is no need for speculations anymore and the changes made to the updated Palisade SUV are now fully visible.
Speaking about the changes made to the exterior, the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Palisade model has received a new upright nose along with a new front bumper with Hyundai’s latest parametric grille with block-like detailing.
In addition to that, Hyundai has carried over the vertical DRL design, however, albeit with a few changes to make the overall design look a bit sharper than the outgoing model of the SUV.
Coming to the sides of the new 2023 Hyundai Palisade SUV, the overall silhouette of the SUV still remains very similar. However, the all-new multi-spoke 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels do make the facelifted version look a lot more premium and desirable.
On the inside, the updated Hyundai Palisade now gets two 12.3-inch screens, a new steering wheel, and a resigned dashboard. All these changes make the interior of the Hyundai Palisade look a lot more premium and sophisticated than before. The new Hyundai Palisade also gets new Ergo-motion seats.
In terms of features, the latest iteration of the Hyundai Palisade gets features such as a heads up display, in-car hotspot, USB-C charging slots, connected car tech, optional heated and ventilated seats on all three rows, adjustable armrest on the second row and much more.
In addition to these features, the Hyundai also features an option for a digital key that can be shared with friends and family members via a simple text message, and this digital key can be accessed via iPhone or Samsung devices.
Like the 2023 Kia Telluride SUV, the 2023 Hyundai Palisade SUV also comes with ADAS as standard. This system comes with active safety systems such as high beam assist, lane departure warning and keeping assist, blind-spot collision avoidance assist rear, surround-view monitor, highway driving assist, driver attention warning,
forward collision warning and collision avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, blind-spot view monitor, smart cruise control with stop & go, parking distance warning, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, lane following assist and safe exit assist
In terms of powertrain, the Hyundai Palisade SUV is powered by a 3.8-litre, Atkinson Cycle, Dual CVVT, naturally-aspirated, V6 petrol engine with 291bhp of peak power and 335Nm of peak torque.
However, we do expect to see the 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine as an option in markets outside the USA. This engine is a more frugal unit and produces a decent 197.3bhp of peak power and 441Nm of torque.
As standard, the 2023 Hyundai Palisade is available with an 8-speed torque converter gearbox and it is also offered in 2WD and 4WD guises.

The Hyundai Palisade is a full-size 7-seater SUV with more than decent levels of road presence. The update now adds a bit more presence and sophistication to the mix.
