Volkswagen has given its popular Tiguan a price rise shortly after its mid-life update.
Prices are up by between $900 and $1200, depending on the variant, but all models now feature standard DAB+ digital radio.
Pricing for the 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan now starts at $41,490 before on-road costs for the 110TSI Life and extends to $57,490 before on-road costs for the 147TDI R-Line, though the range will soon be expanded with a hot R flagship.
“Material and shipping costs are rising in direct correlation to COVID-19 and the semi-conductor situation,” said a Volkswagen Australia spokesperson in regard to the prise rise.
“Tiguans are now, however, standard with DAB+.”

It’s priced at $68,990 before on-roads costs, and Volkswagen has confirmed the list of standard equipment. You can read more here.
