Ducati has announced the 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4, updating the bike for 2022 with new livery, electronic updates, and new accessories. With almost 10,000 motorcycles delivered worldwide, the Multistrada V4 outsold every other model in the Ducati motorcycle range in 2021. In the 2022 model, the Multistrada V4 S is offered in a new Iceberg White livery, which is available alongside the Ducati Red and Aviator Grey colour options. For 2022, Ducati has updated the semi-active suspension of the Multistrada V4 with the introduction of the Minimum Preload system, as well as infotainment system updates. And the good news is these updates will be free of charge to customers who already own the bike.
For 2022, Ducati has updated the semi-active suspension of the Multistrada V4 with the introduction of the Minimum Preload system, as well as infotainment system updates. And the good news is these updates will be free of charge to customers who already own the bike.
The Minimum Preload feature allows the rider to reduce the height of the motorcycle and makes it easier and safer to place the feet on the ground during city use or when manoeuvering at low speed, especially with a passenger on board. Another important software update is the interaction between the rider and the bike, which is now more functional thanks to the improvements implemented in the Infotainment (Ducati Connect) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) areas.
the aluminium side panniers and top case, designed by the Centro Stile Ducati and made in collaboration with Givi, will be included in the catalogue. The considerable total capacity (76 litres for the side panniers and 41 litres for the top case) allows a lot of luggage carrying capability.
For 2022, Ducati has also introduced improvements to the Ducati Performance accessories line which is now offered with two important elements: lowered suspension kit and aluminium bags. The lowered suspension kit, available as accessory for the Multistrada V4 S, consists of fork springs, shock absorber springs and side stand, designed to reduce the saddle height from the ground by 20 mm, and increasing the seat height range from 790 mm to 875 mm.
From April 2022, the aluminium side panniers and top case, designed by the Centro Stile Ducati and made in collaboration with Givi, will be included in the catalogue. The considerable total capacity (76 litres for the side panniers and 41 litres for the top case) allows motorcyclists to take everything they need with them for each trip. Internal bags are also available as accessories, made of waterproof fabric with heat-sealed seams.
The Ducati Multistrada V4 is the first motorcycle in the world fitted with front and rear radar, with Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Sport Detection systems. The Multistrada V4 also comes with valve clearance intervals every 60,000 km and offered with 4 years of unlimited mileage warranty.
