UMW Toyota Motor has pulled the covers off the much-anticipated Toyota C-HR at the ongoing DRIVE event.
Before you head to your nearest Toyota dealership to pay a deposit, please keep in mind that UMW Toyota Motor is merely previewing the car here and gauging the public’s interest in the new model.
From what we understood, the new model will only be introduced in 2018, possibly fully-imported from Thailand. The one that is on display at the moment is not representative of the actual model we will be receiving, as the Toyota C-HR here is currently an Australian spec 2WD model.

Instead, the company is expected to introduce the Toyota C-HR in Malaysia with a naturally-aspirated 1.8-litre engine mated to a CVT-type automatic that sends drive to the front wheels. Elsewhere, the Toyota C-HR was locked, therefore interior details are not shown.
