The Tiger 1200 will compete with the Ducati Multistrada V2 and the BMW R 1250 GS.
Triumph India has released a teaser of its upcoming Tiger 1200 adventure tourer. It will take on the likes of the Ducati Multistrada V2 and the BMW R 1250 GS.
In the international market, the Tiger 1200 is available in two variants – Rally and GT. While the former is kitted out for off-road use, the GT is suited for long-distance cruising.
For the 2022 model year, Triumph has dropped the twin headlamp set up for a single LED headlight with an integrated LED daytime running light. The bike has a prominent beak and a large windscreen.
Powering the Tiger 1200 is a 1,160cc, inline-3 cylinder engine that develops 147 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 130 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. Like the BMW, the Tiger 1200 also comes with a shaft drive.
