Aston Martin will celebrate its 110th Anniversary with a series of events and the launch of a bespoke special model
Aston Martin has announced its plans for its 110th anniversary year which will culminate in the launch of a new limited-run anniversary special. The strictly limited model will be the next in a long line of low-volume specials that have been produced at Gaydon, and will go one further than the CC100 concept that marked the firm’s 100th anniversary by being built in limited numbers.
This new limited-run model could take one of two routes: to be built in the style of ultra-low production specials like the DBS GT Zagato or even a one-off such as the Victor. This represents the very pinnacle of Aston Martin’s customisation abilities, in the case of the Victor being commissioned by a customer prior to its construction and design.
The other possibility is that of a low-volume model like the V12 Speedster, of which 88 units were built in total. As the model celebrates 110 years of Aston Martin, it’s not out of the question to speculate that 110 units might be built if this is the case.
Central to the company’s anniversary plans, Aston Martin will also run a number of activities throughout the summer at blue riband events such as the British Grand Prix, Goodwood Festival of Speed and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
2023 will also see Aston Martin embark on a revamp of its front-engined cars starting with the DB11 this Spring as it fights to rescue its current financial situation.
