Verdict
Interestingly enough, none of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 derivatives has lost any value since they were introduced just over a year ago. However, some models have seen more appreciation than others. The Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in 3.3D ZX guise seems to have gained the most value over this period. While the increase in value makes sense as there was a larger demand than supply due to the chip shortages, the fact that the ZX guise has gained more value than the fully specified GR-S trim is counterintuitive.
However, if you are in the market to purchase a used Toyota Land Cruiser 300, you should consider the flagship GR-Sport derivative as it is cheaper than the ZX trim and comes with everything you might want in a Land Cruiser. However, if you currently own a Toyota Land Cruiser, especially the GX-R and ZX guises, you stand to make a profit should you consider selling.
