Yadvinder Singh Guleria has resigned from his position of Director, Sales, Marketing, After Sales, Logistics, Premium Bike Business, Brand, Communication and Service at Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI). Along with him, Pradeep Pandey, Senior VP, Customer Service, has submitted his resignation as well says a report from ET Auto. Employees were informed of Guleria’s resignation yesterday, citing personal reasons. He will be exiting the company in June 2022. YS Guleria has been associated with Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India for over 20 years. His career also includes a year-long stint as the director with Polaris India Pvt Ltd between 2011 and 2012. carandbike has reached out to Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India for a comment and will update the story as and when we receive a statement from them.

The company recently announced its future roadmap for the Indian market. This includes upgrading the Manesar facility to convert it into a global production hub for motorcycles. The company is also said to develop flex-fuel engines for India and will introduce a new entry-level commuter motorcycle for India soon. Lastly, Honda is moving towards the electric mobility segment with its new vertical – Honda Power Pack Energy India, which will power electric three-wheelers with swappable batteries.
Earlier, in February 2022, HMSI also saw the exit of Shekhar MC, who was the former General Manager, finished vehicle logistics. He went on to join Ola Electric Mobility.
