Another MK IV Supra Turbo has been removed from the road permanently.
A mechanic test-driving a 1997 Toyota Supra was caught on camera as they lost control while overtaking a car before hitting a concrete barrier and eventually crashing into a train yard.
The accident happened in Englewood, near Denver, Colorado, and the video shows the driver losing control under heavy acceleration. The back gets away from them, and the classic Supra ends up a mangled wreck on a set of train tracks.
Our friends at The Drive reached out to the Englewood Police Department, who confirmed that the driver was not the vehicle's registered owner. The driver was transported to the hospital following the accident.

The Drive also reached out to Bespoke Motorsports, the company local car groups identified as dealing with the car. It didn't want to comment without professional legal advice, and reportedly, the shop had a post on Instagram of a seemingly matching Supra on the ramp that is now deleted.
Trey Grube, who captured the video and posted it on Instagram, says that the driver wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car during the crash. He had been following the vehicle for several minutes.
If Grube had kept his camera on the car, it likely still wouldn't have been the most spectacular Toyota crash caught on film.
Currently, MK IV generation Toyota Supra Turbo sales range from around $80,000 to $200,000. In some cases, these cars have sold for even more.
The naturally aspirated 2.5 and 3.0-liter straight-six cylinder powered versions are sought after, but the sequential twin-turbocharged Toyota 2JZ-GTE powered version has reached full-on iconic status, as reflected in the prices they command. Stock, the 2JZ-GTE made around 320 horsepower, but the engine became legendary in the tuning community as it can easily handle around a thousand horsepower without strengthening the bottom end.
According to Facebook commenters claiming to be familiar with the car, it made 900 horsepower and had only 17,000 miles on the clock. The driver may have seen they were being filmed and decided to show off for the camera, and 900 hp is not easy to control with a lead foot.
