KUALA LUMPUR: Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has announced an extra two years free maintenance on its bestselling models.
Buyers of the Arteon R-Line, Tiguan Allspace R-Line or Elegance will enjoy a five-year free maintenance (or 75,000km – whichever comes first), on top of the current five-year manufacturer warranty and roadside assistance.
The offer provides up to RM9,600 worth of savings.
The Arteon R-Line has a graceful fastback shape, LED headlights and an LED taillight cluster.
Under the hood lies a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine paired with a 7-speed wet clutch DSG direct shift gearbox that produces 280ps and 350Nm of torque.
This allows reaching 100kph in just 5.6 seconds from standstill.
Fuel efficiency is billed as 7.4 litres per 100km, while grip and handling are further improved with its 4Motion all-wheel drive system.
The seven-seater Tiguan Allspace family SUV offers versatility with multiple seat configurations.
Boot space is a massive 1,775 litres with the third-row seats folded – the best in the segment.
The Tiguan Allspace R-Line is Volkswagen’s performance SUV, offering the highest power and torque in its class, thanks to a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, producing 220ps and torque of 350Nm, and its capabilities are enhanced with a 4Motion all-wheel drive system.
The Tiguan Allspace Elegance variant is powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine, producing 150ps and 250Nm.
Its interior has connectivity features such as a Digital Cockpit and 9.2-inch Discover Pro infotainment system with wireless App-Connect.
The Arteon R-Line 4Motion retails at RM276,990 while the Tiguan R-Line 4Motion is priced at RM235,990.
The Tiguan Allspace Elegance retails at RM188,990.
